Comments Thread For: DiBella: Wilder vs. Whyte To Get Joshua is ******, Whyte Irrelevant!

Promoter Lou DiBella, who works with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (38-0, 37 KOs), feels it's absurd that his boxer would have to face Dillian Whyte to earn a unification with IBF, IBO, WBA champion Anthony Joshua (19-0, 19 KOs). Joshua was preparing to face Kubrat Pulev for his first fight since his dramatic 11th-round stoppage of the great Wladimir Klitschko in April, but a shoulder injury saw the Bulgarian pull out this week and Carlos Takam step in to take the heavyweight bout on October 28 in Cardiff.

Lol DiBella is a moron he is acting like Wilder has any pull in the making of the Joshua fight. He is a nobody and better go through Whyte if he wants the money fight. Which will be the best opponent Wilder has faced in his career anyway.

I would prefer Whyte over Stiverne.

As long as we get Wilder-Joshua in 2018 everyone will turn out fine.

**** Dillian ****e he is irrelevant. He hasn't earned nor deserves a title shot. Just about sc****d past a gatekeeper like Chisora. No fan of Lou DiBella but I'll take his word over Hearn's any day.

Well he isn’t irrelevant if that fight guarantees him a shot at AJ is he?? Isn’t that what Wilder wants? Whyte would be Wilder best opponent yet!! He also gets his highest payday against him!

Many people want to see Wilder vs Whyte.. Just look on social media and youtube videos.. Whyte is very relevant and it helps instantly promote the Wilder vs AJ fight… but like I said, all that doesn’t matter..what matters most is Whyte guarantees a shot at AJ.. So the question should be why is Wilder so afraid to face Whyte for career high payday and a guaranteed shot at AJ?

He can’t duck Whyte any longer though, After Helenius Whyte will have moved himself in to highest ranked mandatory position for Wilder.

Joshua is the Floyd Mayweather of the heavyweight division, Wilder fights when Joshua calls him. The fact that Wilder wont go and put Whyte to sleep to make the Joshua fight even bigger in the UK shows that Wilder is scared of being exposed, so he goes back to fighting the Gerald Washingtons and the Bermaine Stiverne's of the world.

Wilder is terrified of Dillian Whyte.

He'd much sooner fight old men than a prime heavyweight.

Certain fighters manage to constantly remain in the mix even when they're proven next-to-nobodies. Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora are good examples of this.

                  DiBella is a **** promoter

I have been paying attention to Deontays trainer, and he really should be his promoter tbh, really friendly guy who talks straight up like it is without bull****ting

Joshua is nobody in the states. There's a reason why he won't fight in the states, because Hearn knows he won't fill any arena in Vegas. UK fighters will always draw more at home because the UK is a lil bigger population wise than California. Joshua could walk down Hollywood Blvd and nobody would know who he is.
