Canelo's memo has been.. take an "easier" fight in May and then a tough one in September.

The winner of Saunders-LeMule has a great shot of landing the Canelo fight next.

Only a ****** thinks GGG barely landed a clean shot all night. GB knows Canelo got away with a robbery, they wouldn't be so keen to fight GGG on more even grounds

Canelo won the 1st four rounds, when he had some stamina. After that, it was 6-2 for GGG, the Energizer bunny who never gets tired, which makes it a draw. And that was the final decision, a correct one, except that ridiculous 118-110 card for Canelo, that card was a robbery of course, but the draw one was right on target.

Close fight. No robbery. Canelo's defense was excellent, he wasn't marked up that much, certainly didn't take a beating. GGG was crapola in cutting off the ring. It will be easier for the rematch for Canelo. And a rematch will be another huge check for Canelo and GB. No logical reason for it to not happen. None.

That doesnt constitute a close fight the name of the game is out-landing your opponent which GGG did in almost every round. It wasn't a close fight at all. I cant give round to Canelo for fighting in the first or last 30 seconds and having little success.

If you dont know how to score a fight then that's your problem not mine, the fight wasnt close, it was a robbery because GGG was the dominant one. He had ring dominance throughout the fight, outlanded Canelo in nearly every round and had Canelo hurt late in the fight.

I understand fans wanna see all the good fights ASAP with no marinating and most fans wanna see Mexican style fights were you got two fighters beating the **** out of each other and not give one thought to defense.
But C'mon. If your working for yourself like a boxer is or if your running a business like Oscar De la Hoya is wouldn't you wanna maximize your earnings??
I know most people don't give a **** about any of that cause they're not getting any money out of it but you gotta see things from a fighter's and promoter's point of view then you'll understand why they do some of the things they do.

Well I agree with you but we both know the business side of boxing is ruining the sport.
All these ****ing belts going around, step aside fees, fighters fighting once a year, PED's, too much bullshet going on in Boxing. Some of it is the fighters, the other bullshet is the promoters and organizations.
That's why I quit giving a **** about belts and mandatory fights.
