no im just saying that Ortiz is Jashua mandatory now, and Ortiz did have a good excuse for his failed test im not saying its right to failed a test but if he did get cleared to fight and fights Joshua that would be a big event

Anyway this sucks. We just need to skip ahead directly to Wilder-AJ, save us all some hassle instead of dealing with these old folks who get injured or test positive.

Anyone who's ******ed enough to call it a duck, should be banned from this site & has zero business discussing boxing;the same as the ******s claiming Wilder ducked Ortiz. Agreed?

Ortiz vs Joshua would be HUGE in the UK only if Ortiz is cleared to fight and doesn't get Banned

This had cancellation written all over it from the beginning. Pulev was never going to fight AJ that quick and he doesn't really want to fight him at all if we are being honest. This is the BS that fighters these days pull with the Fury "ankle" injury or the other Fury "I hurt my back" right before the fight. You could see it a mile away if you pay attention. If I were Eddie Hearn, i would get the IBF to make Pulev fight someone else for pulling this type of crap.

First of all no it wouldn't because Wilder wanted to still fight while the WBC canceled the fight

Second, the New York State commission refused to sanction the fight

Third, the WBA suspended Ortiz so the fight can't happen

Well as some people said he wanted it in December to begin with, wouldn't surprise me if he already had an issue that has now been aggravated and would explain why he wanted it later.

I'm guessing Chisora as a late replacement which is unlikely to be competitive. Was looking forward to this fight though, didn't give Pulev much chance but figured he'd go for it, and very few in the division look like they could beat AJ or Wilder anyway.

Why would Pulev not want the most lucrative opponent in the division ? You're aware everyone in the division wants to be mandated to face the British champion.
