Seems like a good plan.. I might fight mando, then another fringe contender, then Lara and Charlo.. I'm not sure in a fight or so he will be ready for Lara.

Hurd and Lars have mandos do I think. Charlo is free for a voluntary up next.
So Hurd vs Vitu
Lara vs Brian Carlos Castano
Charlo vs Nathaniel Gallimore I'm guessing.Comment

I think he can be ready for Lara next year. If he catches Lara a few times you know he will get on his bike. Hope he works on his defense tho.Comment

I like Hurd. Walks through punches. Going to make for a very entertaining career but it'll probably be a short one. Reminds me of Froch. Gangly and a cast iron chin. When he needs to bite down he bites down.
My pick vs Lara would be a Hurd decision with a knockdown in the process. Lara has been floored by rugged opponents before and Hurd brings it.Last edited by REMOVE SHARK 55; 10-16-2017, 08:43 PM.Comment

There is a bit of awkwardness to it all. He'll be fighting against a corner that trains his brother. And that trained him up until three fights ago.I'm a Charlo fan but let's face it, based on his words, and lack of em, it seems like Charlo has every intention of avoiding Lara.
It seems like the only way Charlo will fight Lara is if he is forced to. Lara has already called him out twice in the space of two weeks and Charlo has refused to even entertain the thought of fighting him. He won't even mention his name but he'll shout Hurd's name at the top of a mountain.
Now I know of course that Lara will probably go back to hiding now that his fight with Gausha is done. He only seems to call out the tough guys when he has a fight with a bum lined up, then as soon as the fight is done he goes back to hiding until he is signed to fight the next bum. So in all likely hood Lara's call out isn't legitimate, but still.....Jermell went out of his way to avoid calling his bluff, even when asked directly about it in interviews. That's concerning.
How does that impact his brother's situation? Or their kill every body attitude? It's somewhat perplexing to be honest lolComment

Hurd keeps getting better every fight. I don't see Lara coming out guns blazing and punching himself out like Trout did. Lara will be able to out box Hurd like Trout did early and will have a lot left in the later rounds. Charlo is the more dangerous fight but atleast Hurd would have a KO chance. Then again Lubin had a KO chance and he got his body half paralyzed with Charlo's power. I'm still not completely sold on Hurd because Trout fought ****** by burning himself out early. Hurd was ahead on the cards before the stoppage so he didn't even need it though. Against Lara I can't see that happening unless he is able to drop and badly wobble Lara early. I think Lara boxes his ears off easily. Charlo beats his ass.Comment
