Which fighters have made you a fan in 2017?

    For me:

    Errol Spence Jr.
I was supporting Kell Brook and played down Spence's chances. Hadn't really seen a lot of him prior. He surprised me though and put up a great showing in Brook's backyard. I'm eager to see him against the other top names at 147.

    Chris Eubank Jr.
Put on three very good performances against a better standard of opposition in 2017. Has entered the World Boxing Super Series to try and establish himself against the other top fighters in the Super Middleweight division.

    Lewis Ritson
Put on a dominating display to stop Robbie Barrett and win the British Lightweight title. That is a stacked division domestically and I'm looking forward to some cracking matchups in the near future as he attempts to win the Lonsdale belt outright.

Errol Spence and Andre Ward. I liked the Charlos beforehand, but they've both solidified themselves further in my eyes.

On the other of the coin, I was a fan of Luis Ortiz, but his PED addiction is more than I can handle

Daniel Jacobs- Anyone who beats cancer and makes a return to a sport like boxing gets my respect. But I became a fan of his because of the way he stood toe to toe with GGG and he only lost by a point in my book. Everyone said he would get blasted out or he would fight in survival mode. He did neither.

Sor Rungvisai- I thought he came up a little short against Chocolatito and was given a gift. He proved everyone wrong and made a statement the best way possible. Dominated Chocolatito for a few rounds and then knocked him out. He's limited, but makes up for it with his toughness and just being relentless.

Especially when he already has history. With out it he could have got the benefit of the doubt.

Daniel Jacobs, that was a good addition. Some people don't know how devistating having/getting diagnosed with cancer can be on your body and spirit

Daigo Higa 13-0-0 ( all by KO ) just defeated Juan Hernandez Navarrete who was top 6 at the weight ; pupil of the great Yoko Gushiken. He won the WBC youth title at 19 in his seventh pro fight and took that path to the world title, he probably beats the other champions at Flyweight ( Nietes and Ioka ) right now.
