To be fair, i heard his coach tell him not to stand in front of him. But yeah every time austin traded with him I was yelling at my tv for him to keep moving lol. Hurd is a strong ass dude. None of the stuff austin was landing had any effect on him.

Yeah I was to! 1000% agree with you. You dont go toe-2-toe with a guy that much bigger and stronger??? I still felt that 18 month ring rust hurt badly in those later rounds also.

One of the commentators said it best. Trout couldn't hurt Hurd. And that made the trading one sided. Next up, Hurd vs Charlo. THAT could be another Hagler/Hearns.

I was more impressed by the older, smaller Trout's losing effort
than by the younger, naturally larger Hurd's winning performance.
Hurd would look like a punching bag against Charlo.

Trout should've kept using the ring, he was the superior boxer and faster fighter!

Made the fight much harder than he needed to, idk what those judges saw in the fight to make it only a Trout up by 1 point!

I had Trout up by 3 rounds, he was outboxing Hurd and landed more cleaner punches!

Hurd is a big oaf who I see will lose to either Lara or Charlo!

Lara and Charlo hits harder than Trout and Move just as good with a better engine especially Lara!

Yeah Trout showed some balls man. Great action fight. Hurd is huge for the weight, has a solid chin and a good engine but he is so square on and easy to hit that he's gunna be taking huge punishment at top level.

He can't afford to keep taking shots like that.
