I've been riding with the Charlo's since the Trout fight....Those people that said he was scared are just haters & are the real scared ones.....Home boy was pissed & took it out on the Hammer. Lions Only!

Yeah i didn't get that "He was scared" stuff, he already signed a contract to fight Lubin, he was merely stating that Lubin didn't deserve to be given that opportunity at that belt, stating that him and his twin brother didn't get that same chance when they were up and coming. But some posters on here jumped on it and said he sound scared etc.

At the early age of 23 Vargas already had wins against Yori Boy Campas, Raul Marquez, Ike Quartey, Winkey Wright not to mention gave Tito a hell of a fight. Trust me, Fernando had the tools to be a great one. Unfortunately, his team fail to look out for him and kept feeding him to the wolves with Tito and then Oscar who where in a different level. Vargas became a world champion at 22 not many guys can say that.

Great post, totally agreed. I followed all that too. I was hyped on Vargas just as I am still hyped on Lubin. Vargas had balls the size of the Americas, not only Mexico! The Trinidad and Oscar fights were brutal.
