What you say is true (speed can be neutralized with a jab), but which De La Hoya are you talking about? The De La Hoya of old utilized his jab, the new De La Hoya doesn't use it that much.

i hate to say this but my fav boxer mayweather will lose this match if he takes it up...reason being is cus he hasnt really proved himself in the welterweight devision..he needs more fights welter then go up to light middle n have a few more fights...u cnt just adjust that quik...he will lose his speed and start getting tired quiker...oscers much more comfortable at that weight
