Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York - IBF junior middleweight champion Jarrett Hurd (21-0, 15 KOs) rallied to score a stoppage win over former champion Austin Trout (30-4, 17 KOs) after ten rounds. Hurd was in action back in February, when Hurd stopped Tony Harrison to capture the vacant IBF world title. The belt became vacant when Jermall Charlo moved up to the middleweight division.

I called it. Hurd has that nastiness as a fighter.

Trout hit the wall in the 6th.

Hurd is a huge JMW, he will be a SMW within 3 years for sure.

If he would have went on, no way he was making it out of the eleventh. Good stoppage.

I agree, but Hurd is a damn tank at 54 man. Its gonna take a heavy puncher, with great stamina and good movement to take him out because he doesn't stop coming forward

Lara tees off on him and beats him handedly...he's a good offensive fighter but lara would work him.. too skilled

Wow!!! Trout looked like he was 2-3 weight classes smaller.

Hurd didn't impress me. I was expecting something great. Something that's on the level of Floyd or Hearns. He is a B-Level fighter that will lose to the best in the division.
