agree with that.....
Lara could be undefeated, not should be. He clearly beat P. Will. No question about it. Canelo? I thought Lara edged it out, but it's not worth arguing about. Landy should've worked harder. He didn't. A lot of people continue to bring up Molina. I thought it was a very close fight, and that a draw was a fair decision. Carlos didn't get robbed, as many claim. May as well say Lara got robbed versus Canelo. It's boxing. Close fights can easily go either way. Hell, judges don't get clear decisions right half the time.
and that.....
He beat Williams, when Williams was the southpaw "boogeyman." I had him (at a minimum) even with Canelo. He's definitely a Top #10 talent, but he hasn't had Top #10 fights...CONSISTENTLY! Part of that is his own doing! He needs a KO tonight. Lara is 34. Father time is undefeated!
and that.....
Lara is a helluva talent, but not capitalizing on momentum is killing some of these guys with their on-off careers
I kinda feel that Rigo got forced into accepting unreasonable terms with Lomachenko..... I am not making excuses for him, because like Lara, part of that is his own doing!..... but had he been a bigger name/draw he would have got that fight at 126, or maybe 127 so the belts could still be up for grabs
the same could happen to Lara, forced to take fights under unfavorable conditions, partly because he failed to capitalize on any momentum with his careerComment

The problem with Lara has always been that he is content to do the minimum to win his fights, most of the time.
He never tries to separate himself more.Comment

I have to agree. It cost him versus Canelo, in my opinion. I thought Lara won on points. Evidently, so did he and his corner. But I knew it was close. As the B-side, you have to believe you're not going to get the nod in a close fight. Landy fought the late rounds without enough urgency. The guy fights too low volume to believe he's gonna get a close decision in a fight like that. Fans, and even judges, often score rounds for the more aggressive fighter.Comment
