I didn't know until i heard Shane McGuigan speak on Talksport yesterday that they was both each others best man. Something pretty dramatic must have gone down.

Ever see that episode of Hollyoaks where that gang got the dude in the car park, rest of the guys thought they were gunna give him a beating, til the leader got carried away and gave him a bumming.

This whole thing has the hallmarks of that, gang thought they were giving the Mexican a beating in the shower, Barry got carried away and gave him a bumming. This is how friendships get broken, Frampton couldnt stick around no more after that.

Only possible explanation, that or money

You don't fall over in a shower and bust up your face that bad. You might fall over and **** your head. I'd like to hear the Mexican guy's version of events - but maybe not.

Prefer to see Frampton in some good fights but not encouraged when i see what's happening with Flanagan and BJS

Shane Mcguigan is not a good trainer, he was absolutely hopeless when cornering Haye vs Bellew. There's a reason his high-profile fighters are leaving him

Shane has some knowledge but he's too young and self-involved... too happy to do media, says to me he's got an ego-problem. Get the job done, that is all that matters for a trainer - at his age, he can shut his mouth and prove himself via results, talk is cheap

dont like mcguigan as a person and dont rate him as a trainer. dont understand how hes qulified to tell world class boxers what to do, surely people like groves and haye know more about boxing than he does? is a glorified personal trainer.

Definitely more to this than appears on the surface, both seem like good guys..hopefully one day we'll find out

Do wonder if an established world class boxer should an actual Physiotherapist in the corner and a cut man who knows the game. The Physio helping with Massaging, breathing techniques, lowering body temp, hydration all that good stuff.

Some trainers talk a lot in that corner. One of the the things that perplexes me about boxing. Hunter will talk for literally the whole minute. It must be like someone talking over you trying to watch the tv. It is probably a personality thing even with fans as to which trainers they like.

I like McCracken and Adam Booth. They don't talk too much, they speak calmly and they say simple things.

Booth telling Groves not to get greedy helped him win the fight. Knowing what came after that we know George doesn't have a great gas tank
