I think Charlo vs. Canelo would be huge in Houston. Charlo is from Houston and Canelo has a LOT of FANS in Texas. And it wouldnt be between two quiet guys. Charlo is mean! And could bring out Canelo's mean side as well...
Honestly i kind of would rather see that fight??? Black vs. Brown ALWAYS bring out the best.
That Houston community would travel for him by the thousands (black people know Canelo well because of Oscar and Floyd), if he got to that stage. The economics of a Texas fight are much more reasonable than Vegas. I think it'd be an all star weekend type of turnout.
Its hard to think Al doesn't have that one in mind for the future. Jermall Charlo has been handled differently than his brother for a reason (he is better too though lol). And I think GGG retires win, lose, or draw after the rematch. $40 million out the door seems logical to me.Comment

Exactly! If a white man says he can only shoot sh it up on memorial day and labor day, you know he's full of sh it. Speaking of white people, those redneck don't only run NASCAR on July 4th, they buy Budweiser every weekend. Don't give me that BS, we just had the highest PPV ever and it won't on no damn Mexican holidayComment

Your probably one of those POS's that didnt PAY me in the last fight!!! And started a NEW account...Comment

I understand the more money they make, the less they have to fight. And I definitely get him wanting to fight on the Mexican holiday. It just so happens they're figuring in trying to age out GGG another year (and it's not Canelo doing it, it's Oscar). You're not getting fighters fighting each other at their best anymore. More of a business than a sport now, which sucks for the fans.Comment

If Charlo v. Canelo happens in Jerry's World in September 2018 or May 2019, they might get close to a 50k - 60k in attendance number. To my knowledge the fights there have been priced really low to suit the community. Not saying that gate would be astronomical, but i think the headcount would be really high.
