Huge Spence fan here. Good fight, but I really don't like the inactivity. Waiting seven, eight months between fights, right now, when he can slaughter the Petersons of the world is too long. He knew he wasn't getting Thurman so he shouldn't lined this up in June, not wait four months. Makes no sense. Thurman is stalling, the man has been scared, stuttering and making up a million different excuses whenever anyone mentions Spence.
Make Porter fight Spence next. That would be good. Instead Porter will wait and rematch with Thurman after Thurman beats some bum, and then Thurman will probably want to rematch Garcia too. Spence needs to just go out and beat everyone else at WW while Thurman is living easy off his victories over Porter and Garcia. Spence shoulda already beat Peterson and have Porter scheduled for next year. Spence is 27 years old and a beast. Thurman and Crawford are the only two I can see having any chance whatsoever against Spence right now. Let the killer loose.Comment
