it's as much of a " draw " as Golovkin's " win " over Jacobs
both = *
Canelo beating Golovkin is the hardest argument..... BUT, there is an argument..... that fight was close as hell
MUCH closer than say, Pac/May..... and there are still people who debate that fight today
people see what they want to see
folks who argue about Jacobs/Golovkin have to realize that they are wasting their time
that is what rematches are for
truth be known, Canelo should be waiting for them to settle their business..... because I rank Jacobs ahead of Canelo at 160, and although there is a case that the red kid beat Golovkin, it was not decisive or even clear.....
just like the argument for Golovkin beating Canelo, is not decisive or even clear.....
agreed
1) Golovkin, by the skin of his balls, with a *
2) Jacobs, *..... he could be the best middleweight on the planet, and right now I suspect that he is..... but need to see him fight Canelo, and the guy who will give him the most problems because of style, Charlo
3) Canelo, right up there with Golovkin..... nothing separated them when they fought..... he looked great in spots in his first true middleweight bout, and will only get better
..... by rights it should be.....
1) Golovkin/Jacobs/Canelo
4) Saunders
5) Charlo
6) the rest..... I do not rate Lemieux, I think Saunders will outclass him
The Ring have Canelo number #1, and have done since Cotto..... and I have disagreed with that decision since it was made
ranking by lineage is absurd, Canelo had never partaken in a genuine middleweight contest until a few weeks ago..... he should be entering their ranking NOW, at #3
I like your idea of a tourney, but only if I can pick the fights lol
the best scenario at middleweight is.....
1) Golovkin/Jacobs fight NEXT
2) Canelo can fight Lemieux, that is a good "settle in at 160" fight while he waits for the Golovkin/Jacobs winner
3) Saunders/Charlo, with the winner fighting the loser of Golovkin/Jacobs
the winner of scenario #3, will then be deservedly in line for the winner of scenario #2
that way in 18 months we would have a clear pecking order among the top 3 with some interesting matchups still on the table
GOOD post, much better than your one-liners on the other threadLast edited by Mammoth; 11-05-2017, 08:44 PM.Comment

in the scenario I played out, there was nobody else available
he got a " settle in at 160 " fight while Jacobs/Golovkin settle their business and Saunders/Charlo battle for the #4 spot
ok, seeing it was your idea..... Canelo can fight Charlo and we will leave Saunders in Montreal to play with the "Mongoloid Frenchman"
don't know how you scored 8 rounds for Golovkin
scoring for the guy going forward ?Comment

I did not say that..... but 8-4 did not happen
not unless you score for the guy going forward
people more knowledgeable than us also had Canelo winning
I absolutely agree
I can't believe he gave Golovkin that fight on his terms
when Golovkin refused to make good on that "anyone from 154-168" rubbish, after specifically promising to give fight Canelo at catchweight..... he should have been made to wait until Canelo was ready at 160
Golovkin is yet to make any type of concession in order to land a meaningful fight
despite that fact..... IF Canelo/Golovkin does not happen next..... EVERYBODY will immediately blame Canelo, and give Golovkin a free pass..... without knowing the specific details lol
and you're right..... I will blame Golovkin, without knowing the specific details
simply because..... Canelo has fought everyone, and has made sacrifices to make big fights..... and Golovkin will notComment

..... only an utter fool would attempt to rubbish Mora as a draw, in favor of someone called OsmanuComment

don't lie you ****-stain, the proof is in this very thread
my reply was in response to you admitting that Mora is a bigger draw than Adama in the USA..... but in your sig you say that I responded to you saying it made sense for GGG to fight Osumanu Adama in Europe.....
you do know that Ghana is not in Europe right..... you lying little ***wit
that dribble you wrote is a weak attempt to justify your own ******ity
anyone who suggests that Adama was a better opponent than Mora, for ANY reason whatsoever..... is an excuse-making muppet who DKSAB
when you admitted that Ward would have beaten Golovkin..... you should have just left it there.....Comment
