FACT Cotto said GGG didn't deserve a fight with him because he never fought a A level fighter on two different videos but was perfectly ok fighting someone best known for getting crushed by GGG in 3 rounds.

FACT Cotto won a belt in GGG's division and then ran like the wind rather than stay at 160 to try and take a belt from GGG.

FACT Cotto hasn't fought someone that either wasn't a guaranteed big money fight or a guaranteed win since he lost to Austin Trout in 2012.

FACT Shared a division with long time champion Erislandy Lara for years but since Lara is another high risk fight for little money he never even mentioned his name.

Two fighters you apparently idolize Floyd and Cotto will only fight on their terms. Cotto announced quite a while ago that he will only fight at a catchweight. Floyd because of his ability to bring in big money sets the terms of his fights. Golovkin said he would move down in weight for Floyd only. There is nothing bizzare about it. Its all negotiable. The gloves, the referees, the ring size, the purse and the weights of the fighters. If the other fighter doesn't like it then go fight someone else. Bizzare isn't a word I'd use to describe negotiations between fighters. By the way Golivkin's management were pretty sure that Cotto would not get into the ring with G to defend his Middleweight title. Here is an analysis of what happened.
