Ward was in litigation when he "called out" GGG. He legally couldn't fight. He also said he could make 160 for Floyd but not 164 for GGG. There's a double standard there.

Ward then mentioned GGG AFTER GGG had a fight with Lemieux signed and was already competing above 168.

Ward tried to gain back some relevance by name dropping GGG and he saw how GGG's "most feared" aura worked and wanted to see if it did with him. It didn't because nobody really believes he was serious and nobody enjoying watching him fight either live or on TV or PPV.

Ward says a lot of things. He said he dreamed of a heavyweight fight and was working on a Bellew fight then retires a week later.

    Some fighters like to "call out" fighters with no intention of fighting and many obstacles clearly preventing fights. Wilder, Saunders, Stevenson, Garcia, Ward etc;

      right

      what about Cotto ?

why address one, and not the others..... ?

what about the ridiculous pile of excuses that Loeffler coughs up every-time Lara's name is mentioned?..... if showtime really was a show-stopper (and we know that aint true) then why did Loeffler use every lame excuse in the book, just like he did with Mora..... only to fight someone WORSE?

the Cotto example shows their mindset..... if they were unwilling to negotiate with Cotto, then they were unwilling to negotiate with anyone

like Sanchez admitted, Golovkin does not care about legacy, and will only fight on his terms..... which is absolutely fkn bizarre

the Cotto situation proves whats up, nobody can deny that

Some irrelevant unranked boring bum calling out the boss knowing the boss has a ton of other fights lined up, Canelo rematch, Saunders/Lemieux winner or possibly Charlo mandatory or Jacobs rematch. Laughable attempt to get some attention. Andrades last couple fights were embarrassing, went life and death vs a unknown german bum and couldnt even stop 2 ****en journeyman that GGG would have trashed inside 2 rounds.

        Know your place bum.

Oh for ****s sake. I'm going to take a break from calling you out for your racist bull***** to answer this one. Cotto never wanted anything to do with GGG. Said GGG never fought any A level fighterss as a reason not to fight him in at least 2 different videos but then defended his belt against GGG's sloppy seconds. By the way, no where in those 2 videos he used to justify his ducking GGG did he even bother to mention Erislandy Lara. Erislandy Lara fought Paul Williams, Canelo Alvarez and Austin Trout at that time. Many people would argue that he's no worse than 2-1 in those three fights and a vocal group of people argue he should be 3-0. Cotto never mentioned his a$$. In the 2 years since his fight with Canelo he would have only fought Yoshahiro Kamegai and Sadam Ali.

While I don't argue that GGG ducked Ward and Lara because you can't duck people fighting in other weight classes at least you can say both guys verbally expressed interest in a fight with GGG. Cotto never expressed any interest in fighting GGG or any other highly regarded but little known fighter after he lost to Austin Trout. That loss took Cotto out of the business of fighting the best possible opponents. It was all about padding his win count and his wallet from then on.

I can (kinda) understand why you clowns defend Mora (LOL) and Lara (etc)..... but Ward?

              have some pride, you muppet

back in June 2015, Ward was NOT in litigation.....

so, you are either..... clueless, in which case, STFU.....

GGG's Team Turned Down Ward in 36 Minutes
"The only way you respond in 36 minutes is if you had no intention of ever fighting this guy. That's what 36 minutes tells you. That's typically how it's done. You don't respond in 36 minutes."

accuses a PROVEN fighter like Ward of not being genuine, despite the fact that his guy never called anyone's "bluff" EVER lol...... Ward went up and fought Kovalev you fool, Golovkin is not in his league, and will not take a fight unless it happens on his terms

              keep working on Mora/Lara ^^

                listen here, you A-level fool.....

first, Team Bullshht totally refused to negotiate on weight with the little old faded 153lb SUPERSTAR.....

GGG Says No To Catchweight Bout Against Canelo Alvarez, Miguel Cotto.....
Gennady “GGG” Golovkin has rejected the prospect of a catchweight fight with Miguel Cotto or Saul “Canelo” Alvarez further down the line, insisting he wants to remain at the middleweight limit.

then, Golovkin stated that he is willing and able to fight at 154, but he threw up his hands in frustration and claimed that nobody from 154 is willing to fight him..... the problem is, he said that BULLSHHT immediately after he refused to negotiate on weight with Cotto/Canelo LOOOOOL

you can't make this shht up

you would have known that if you had done your homework..... you excuse-making muppet

Listen here you A-level fool. Once again, two videos of Cotto saying GGG doesn't deserve a fight against him exist. Secondly, Cotto hasn't fought an opponent who was truly risky without having big money behind him since he loss to Austin Trout in 2012. In his last 2 years he's chosen to fight Sadam Ali and Yoshahiro Kamegai. AND he ran back down to 154 once he lost his belt.

So GGG ducked Lara and Mora too. Haha what a clown.

Those articles one cites a "source", yes because a source has never been made up or biased? Come on. That's incredibly gullible. Wouldn't believe a word Roc Nation says. They said they were dedicating the fight to that kid that got brain damage and would help him and they haven't done nothing. Not to mention Ward trying to sue and losing to his promoter who was dying. He lost and was caught lying.

They are scam artists and of course they will angle it to make it look favorable to them. Why listen to one side of a story and not another? Because your biased.

Ward was in litigation for about 2 years and then came back over 168 with no titles. Ward said I'll go down to 160 for Floyd but 168 for GGG. Yet when a fighter you don't like wants a fighter to move up you go nuts.

I'm not even a GGG fan you "muppet".
