If I am correct then what is the alternative. Ward comes in at whatever the **** he wants.
Says the man whose been spending hours of his time whining about GGG not dropping down to fight Cotto and Canelo.
Ward hadn't made the weight since 2013 and was inactive. Its not idle speculation.
In the article Yormack said they didn't even get to discuss weight because the offer was rejected so quickly. In the video Ward explicitly said everything including money and weight was split down the middle to show GGG's team they were serious about the fight but that they rejected the offer within a half hour. These are completely contradictory statements.
But not since 2013.
Because he moved up when he did come back to fight more consistently.
I am not talking about Ward's entire career. The only part of his career that is relevent to the discussion was the time period that overlapped the period where GGG went from unknown Euro fighter to HBO darling. GGG didn't make his first appearance at HBO until September 2012. For one reason or another Ward has only fought at 168 2 times since that period.
1) only silly casual-fans and pac-tards rate a fighter based on "power doe"..... " powah doe " did not help Golovkin with Canelo now, did it?
Its still an advantage Adama had as an opponent compared to the feather fisted Sergio Mora who has had only 3 stoppage victories since 2010.
Mora beat Forrest so long ago that it was not relevant to the discussion. He beat Forrest all the way back in 2008. Who gives a *****?
Both guys were ***** opponents but one guy had more power and performed better against better opposition more recently. The fact that you would stoop so low as to whine about GGG picking one bum over the other just goes to show how pathetic you are.
No I didn't.
He didn't.
he refused Cotto AND Canelo..... and when he finally agreed to face the fat red kid he probably made less money due to his poor showing with Jacobs, in a fight he likely lost
So the guy who was whining about my "speculation on weight" despite the fact that I have actual reason to justify that speculation is now speculating on how much money GGG lost out on despite not knowing anything about the dollar amount.
#1. Canelo was always the better payday for GGG.
#2. As I said a million times. GGG was the mandatory challenge at the time of the video with Cotto in it. No need to negotiate the weight. The video with GGG took place roughly a year later and GGG was no longer the mandatory challenger. Thus he was willing to negotiate the weight since he had no leverage to force the fight at a weight he felt comfortable at.
if you were incorrect, and Ward could make 168..... then Golovkin is still a super-b1tch, for attempting to drain him.....
other than the fact that Ward punked lil'G - to speculate/insinuate that he could not make weight
Ward hadn't made the weight since 2013 and was inactive. Its not idle speculation.
Michael Yormack forwarded an offer to Loeffler, and that offer was rejected in 36 minutes with NO offer of negotiation..... what don't you understand about that?
Ward explained what happened, and Yormack supplied the details..... there is absolutely nothing contradictory about that
Ward explained what happened, and Yormack supplied the details..... there is absolutely nothing contradictory about that
1) Ward had made 168 MANY times
2) Bull****kin never fought outside 160, EVER
2) Bull****kin never fought outside 160, EVER
also, Ward has never missed weight
you speculated that Ward could not make 168, because you said that "he never actually showed he could"..... despite the fact that Ward is a consummate professional who has made 168 on plenty of occasions.....
1) only silly casual-fans and pac-tards rate a fighter based on "power doe"..... " powah doe " did not help Golovkin with Canelo now, did it?
2) Mora beat Vernon Forrest, who is levels above anyone Adama ever beat
Adama was a poor opponent, and the faded ex-champ Mora was a no-brainer..... what don't you understand about that?
uh, NOPE..... I most definitely did not "mischaracterized" you AHAHAHAHAH
you said..... when Golovkin said 154-168, he meant AT 160..... AND YOU KNOW IT !!

you said..... when Golovkin said 154-168, he meant AT 160..... AND YOU KNOW IT !!
he did.....
he refused Cotto AND Canelo..... and when he finally agreed to face the fat red kid he probably made less money due to his poor showing with Jacobs, in a fight he likely lost
so, answer the question..... why did Mr "anyone from 154-168" totally refuse to negotiate on weight with little old faded 153lb Cotto..... who was his best possible payday at that point in time?
