I think you're crazy for dismissing all those possibilities out of hand. You are crazy. Golovkin is never fighting Lara nor giving Jacobs a rematch. He's getting ready to close the books.
He either retires after he fights Canelo or gets the other trinket then goes for a trilogy. I doubt he will ever face Charlo and he'll never move at 168, I can guarantee you that.Comment

Golovkin was fighting 3 times a year. Unfortunately he's has to play by Canelo's rules and if he doesn't he loses out on money. And you or no person would be any different given the situation.Comment

I don't think so. Loeffler already said that they aren't interested in a rematch with Jacobs days after the fight was over and there is a very slim chance that he would come close to fighting Lara or Charlo.
That draw was probably the most beneficial thing to happen to Golovkin.Comment

I think there is a difference between saying he's not interested in a rematch and saying there was no outcry about the decision that demands a rematch.
Well Lara would be difficult. He seems more content to talk about fighting GGG while feasting on lesser opposition like Vanes Materoysian, Yuri Foreman and Delvin Rodriguez than move up to 160.and there is a very slim chance that he would come close to fighting Lara or Charlo.
Charlo is the mandatory. If GGG still holds the belt he's going to have to fight Charlo sooner or later. GGG won't let himself get stripped.Comment

I could see if GGG or his team was running their mouths like they were with Ward...but this is down right cringe worthy..GGG has shown he really has 2 fighters he needs to rematch at 160 (Canelo,Jacobs)Comment
