Of course it will. Why give people one fight when you can sell them 2 or 3? That's why these decisions really dont count. Ive learned to look past them and refuse to acknowledge them.

Giving up 8 years and 2 weight divisions. If Rigondeaux pulls this off it will be one of the best victories in boxing history.

They both had over 300 fights before going pro. In their pro record Rigo has 17 fights & loma has 10.
Yeah, I think Rigo has the edge in power here. He broke a guy's jaw a couple fights back. He's going to need to be aggressive to win this one, though.

Rigo will make Loma miss and will feels that crack, that counter left and Loma will stop coming in.

I was actually thinking to myself, if Rigo moved up two weight classes to beat a prime Loma. It might just be the best win of the last 5, maybe 10 years.

Fight of the Year...I can't wait. Rigondeaux is way better than anyone who Lomachenko has ever faced...and as impressive as Lomachenko is he won't look as good as he has against much lesser opponents. Ask yourself...who's better...Salido or Rigondeaux? I don't think the size will be too much for Rigo to deal with. It's a tough call but I'm going with Rigo's skill-set for the win but I expect controversy and a rematch after.

I smell a statement win and lots of people with dropped jaws at what will happen!

Rigo has lots of tricks up his sleeves that he will use to defuse the offensive dynamo and relentless mover of the Ukrainian skills!

Loma will no doubt come out on the front foot which is perfect for RigoSensei!

I expect also that Loma will feel that Rigo can't hurt him.....we'll see about that!

Rigo by TKO 11th round for one of greatest upsets in boxing history and one of the best wins in the last 9 years!

This shod be one hell of a chess match. Looking forward to this one. Lomo has never caught my interest. This should force both fighters to dig deep.
