Wilder would KO whyte easily idk why people put faith in him, that being said if the offer was 3 million that was a bad decision from wilder to turn it down

Maybe because it's a bs offer to keep wilder away from Joshua. Hearn gave Charles Martin 8m all together for aj to take the belt from him in England. So.....a guy who lucked up on a vacant title like Martin did deserved 8m to defend his title against aj, but a champion like wilder can only get 3m??? Why doesn't Hearn give him the 7 he asked for if he really wants the Whyte fight??? Unless somehow wilder is less of a champion than Martin was..... it's a bs deal and wilder is after aj first and foremost.

7 million for Wilder to fight Whyte in a fight where Wilder would be the bookies favourite would be absolutely ridiculous and would literally just be throwing away money. Doesn't take much to work that out.

Wilder doesn't want to risk his weak chin unless it's for jackpot money.A.J. has also got weaker defenses lined up and being as A.J. is a money machine this makes more sense. I would still like to see them both together after their next fight but it won't happen.

I don't like Whyte and he hasn't earned a shot, but for Wilder it's a huge payday for a winnable fight. Good exposure to the UK audience for a future AJ fight too (not that exposure is needed for an AJ fight proven by Pulev selling around 80k)

the reason martin got so much is because he was fighting joshua who is a superstar. wilder would not be fighting joshua. he would be figthing whyte so bringing up purses for joshua fights is completely irrelevant. you are just creating a straw man by comparing things that are not the same. what you should be comparing is how much wilder makes vs whyte or vs stirverne. hmm lets see...Last edited by daggum; 10-11-2017, 02:14 AM.

Or whyte is the pawn as some has stated to keep wilder from joshua. Saw and heard lil clips and joshua doesnt sound like a fighter in the right state of mind frame, talking about losing at this state in his career.
why would he have wilder fight whyte if hes keeping him away from joshua? why would he have wilder fight on the undercard and if he won that would put pressure on joshua to fight him. if he didnt want joshua to fight him he wouldnt have offered him any fights at all.
wilder usually makes aroudn 1 million plus a fight so him turning down this opportunity to put pressure on joshua to fight him, make the most money in his career, and against a mediocre opponent is puzzling.

Let him get stiverne out of the way first, after that offer him the fight again. That fight would sell him to the UK public, he was willing to fight Bellew so i cannot see why a whyte fight for that sort of money is a bad idea.
A Wilder v Whyte fight makes a Joshua v Wilder fight bigger in the UK and this is why Hearn is going after that fight.
