Is Wilder the biggest embarrassment to the sport of boxing right now? Maybe? Still quite irrelevant though so not many people will actually care.. will they ever care? He will just be another opponent to AJ next year get knocked out and retire with a fat undeserved check. Thanks Al Haymon for protecting your bum.

Whyte had his chance and got KO'd by AJ!! It's Wilder's turn plus he has a ordered mandatory!! Whyte isn't a feared opponent in the heavy weight division!!!

Thanks to Eddie Hearn the litmus test that deontayduckus wilderquackus was submitted to confirmed that deontayduckus wilderquackus is 100% pure duck.

[QUOTE=chrisJS;18127238]Of which he's had zero and was offered great money for another. Why not take it?

Maybe because it's a bs offer to keep wilder away from Joshua. Hearn gave Charles Martin 8m all together for aj to take the belt from him in England. So.....a guy who lucked up on a vacant title like Martin did deserved 8m to defend his title against aj, but a champion like wilder can only get 3m??? Why doesn't Hearn give him the 7 he asked for if he really wants the Whyte fight??? Unless somehow wilder is less of a champion than Martin was..... it's a bs deal and wilder is after aj first and foremost.

Isn't Whyte a ped user who was banned from boxing for being one??? Yeah....makes perfect sense for wilder to lose out on three fights in a years time only to waste his time with another ped user. Even better, this particular ped user doesn't even have a notable win on his resume that would even elevate the status of wilder one bit. In fact, he would be criticized worse than he was for szpilka, Washington, or even a mandated rematch against stiverne. In short, Whyte is a ped using scrub who Hearn hopes he can use to hold wilder off for a bit.

Your comparing apples and oranges. The 8 million to Martin was an investment in Joshua to get him a strap (and look how that's worked out).

7 million for Wilder to fight Whyte in a fight where Wilder would be the bookies favourite would be absolutely ridiculous and would literally just be throwing away money. Doesn't take much to work that out.

Dylan Whyte is actually worse than Washington and Spizka in terms of quality.

There's no legitimate reason to act like this fight was significant.
