Its the WBA. Not too long ago Shannon Briggs and Fres Oquendo were legitimately going to fight for the belt before Briggs popped PED positive

This is horrible. I'm a fan of Ustinov - ever since he ended Tua's career he's stuck around in my head, but..this fight is horrible.

Charr has fought once in the last 15 months, and has done nothing to deserve a title shot. Likewise Ustinov, except even worse with 1 fight in nearly two years.

Beyond Joshua, the WBA is a ****ing disgrace to the HW Division.

Did they pay Fres Oquendo to step aside?

I have a feeling the WBA just wrote the top 50 guys names on paper, threw them in a paper bag and had someone pull out 2 random pieces of that paper and now we have a title fight.

On or about August 26, 2015, the WBA received a request from Golden Boy Promotions to sanction a fight between #7 ranked Luis Ortiz (24-0, 21 KOs), from Miami by way of Camaguey, Cuba, and #15 rank…

Why am I not surprised King-Dung Ortiz was involved in this fiasco. Once again the WBC stands as the elite title in the HW division and therefore Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder holds the ONLY world title that matters, WBA, IBF and WBO are second rate belts by this and its corrupt ruling to rank Alexander Pedvetkin despite his repeated drug abuse.
