A lot can happen in just a couple of months. At the last update, Andre Ward was coming off his best win in years, Roman Gonzalez was coming off a controversial first defeat. They stood atop the list with longtime bantamweight titlist Shinsuke Yamanaka crashing the top ten on the eve of his defense against Luis Nery. Since then, Ward has retired, Gonzalez was knocked out for the first clear loss of his career, and Yamanaka was stopped in his first defeat only for Nery to test positive for PEDs after the fight.

Santa Cruz does not belong in the top ten he blantly ducked a rematch with Framptona and asked for another fight before facing Abner Mares. There was no need to wait just fight now.

Crawford is clearly the top P4P fighter in boxing.

I'm more curious as to how industry will write about RIGO in December when the unsung hero wins in glorious fashion.

Very pleased with the list, especially 1-5. I think Errol Spence Jr. needs to be on the list! Very disrespectful! Other than that, I can't complain!

I agree, this is how ESPN should justify positioning. All it takes is one good rationale vs a panel pool of others rating the P4P list without detail or just averaging stars like kinder

Only idiots have Crawford or lomachenko as #1 , they've fought nobody, ...to be number one pound for pound, you have to beat pound for pound fighters, and neither of them have done that..
