Triple GGG's fight with Canelo definitely showed he's getting old and was showing it in the fight. All that being said an old GGG won a lop sided decision in that fight regardless what the corrupt judges were paid to say in order to produce a rematch. Can you imagine Canelo fighting a GGG of even two years ago? Ouch! No wonder why Canelo's handlers avoided GGG and waited for him to be past his prime in order to fight him. The rest is in the history books now and the fight is easily seen by anyone when the nuthuggers start screaming how awesome the carefully managed Canelo is. What's next for Canelo after this? Maybe try and lure Hagler out of retirement in order to try and get another name on Canelo's reume?

The only thing Canelo impressed me with was his upper body movement. I believe GGG solves that with hard punches to the sternum early. Canelo probably wont back into the ropes, but GGG didnt do his best work there anyway.

The notion that Canelo landed the harder shots is subjective and hard to judge. Yea he probably did, but I would also say that they did less damage than GGGs shots bc GGG can take bigger shots.

Only casuals believe that gggs jab was patty caking. His jab was harder than Canelos so called power punches which consisted of keep away right hands and little flurries he threw to try and get off the ropes because he was too tired to fight for 3 min of any round. Canelo isn't knocking ggg out and you know it. He barely made him blink.
I just go based on what I saw on fight night. Compubox is rubbish... ggg did mis a lot idk how much didn't count. But it was more than twice what he landed. Look at both their faces after the fight and you and I can agree ggg got hit harder. That's not even including the body work canelo beautifuly did on ggg. We will all be watching the rematch and I honestly believe canelo wins it

you can't call someone a casual but then say someone landed the harder shots or won based on their face. There really wasn't a great disparity In the amount of damage shown on their faces after the fight and everyone bruises /swells differently. It's not like 1 guy looked like cotto after his first fight with Margarito while the other didn't have a scratch. They both had a couple of bruises but nothing overly excessive.

You may be right. My apologies for calling you a casual no offense. Everyone does bruise differently. But, watching the fight, Canelo did land the cleaner harder punches. When he threw punches ggg had no answers. Problem is he didn't throw enough, took too many breaks. In the rematch, I'd like to see canelo be more active, and I'd like to see ggg be more accurate... that would be fun

              No **** Einstein!

Problem is, GGG wasn't even close to KOing Alvarez

              Easier said than done

You dont need to land 500 puches for a KO. Didnt Canelo have the same connect percentage as GGG? How do you win a fight landing less punches?

3g will try and push harder with worse results. his eagerness to go for the ko will hasten his own.
GGG wants Canelo to stay in the pocket... Canelos best chance of winning is running but throwing more flurries in the rematch.. if he doesnt run, it'll be a KO for sure for GGG.

he will be circling him and concentrating on his body attack. he has 3g's right sorted out.
