Was watching the Eubanks Jr fight and all he did was hold anytime he got close.. I have noticed this a lot in boxing, what happened to working in the trenches?? Is inside fighting not being taught anymore?

I didn't notice much holding in the Eubanks fight. I don't think it's a lost art but some fighters don't like the grind on the inside. People remember the blows but Salido was pretty effective on the inside against Lomachenko.

You started a good thread then you ruined it by mentioning Eubank who actually fights on the inside!!! Yes for whatever reason he was using his shoulders early on to hold or whatever he was trying to do, but Eubank is one of the few fighters that actually fight on the inside. He throws more uppercuts in one round than most elite fighters throw in their entire 12 rounds fights, However I want to see if he continues to fight on the inside when he steps it up.
