But you said earlier Joshua isn't known by the US? Why would Wilder be well known once he beats someone that isn't well known?

AJ made more in his last fight than Wilder made his whole career. German broardcaster RTL will show AJ's next fight live in Germany. RTL pretty much televised the last 25 Klitschko fights or so. They will make Joshua big in Germany as well. Wilder is fighting in front of 3.450 people at US highschools. He has no say. Nobody knows him.

Why's anyone bringing PPV sales or fighter's purses into the discussion. As a fan, you should care about the final product that's received, irrespective of the financial terms on the table. Showtime, SkySports, RTL and all the rest will put up money no matter where the fight is. The fighters will still make millions... and as a fan, you won't see a dime from it! So what does the locations matter. Atmosphere, quality of fight and unifications should be the only things that matter!

I bet more people in the US know AJ than Wilder! Wilder is not a big star like he seems to think he is.

Joshua fighting in the states would definatley make him more globally recognised and thats the point . Joshua needs a a fight here no matter who it is at some point if he wishes to be the undisputed face of boxing including ALL the weight classes, thats not even arguable . He doesnt need many fights here but he needs to make a few appearances here regardless .

Eddies going to book a match in Tuscaloosa Alabama AFTER he defeats Wilder i heard .

He will if he wins that is, and particularly if he wins in spectacular fashion. I can't quite see him beating the "British Mummy." If they do fight, I think Wilder will get sparked before the 9th round.
