This is a severe mismatch. The guy was knocked dead by feather fisted Jessie Vargas

some will say that Cotto's opponent selection is a little underwhelming..... but in truth, Ali is fine as a career-ending showcase fight

Mayweather picked a lower-level opponent, and so did Pacquiao..... Pac/Arum actually bullshhted a fake retirement to justify Vargas, because they saw that it worked for Mayweather..... and Cotto has earned the right to go out on his terms

whoever handles Ali did a great job getting him that fight

He's giving us a lot and he is going to feel the effect to from the ring long after he retires. You should thank him for some great fights instead of knocking a man winding down. Diva yes, coward b*txh never

So Miguel went from taking on Lemieux, GGG and Canelo to ending his career with a soft touch. Eh, he was better off waiting for the PR parade weekend and retiring next year against the same opponent.

This is like Floyd ending his career against Berto - and this opponent is actually even weaker.

                  Wait and See

Until an official press release stating that Cotto vs Ali is finalized by Golden Boy Promotions I won't believe Ali is Cotto's final fight.

If this is Cotto's final fight then it's disappointing. Ali has done nothing do deserve this fight. I would rather much see Lucas vs Cotto or Garcia vs Cotto.

Ali vs Cotto is absolutely pointless. December and November look bleak outside of Loma vs Rigo in boxing.

Cotto should just retire. This retirement fight bs for anyone virtually always is some goofy sh^t that serves no purpose to anyone except the guy who's retiring ego.
It's a brutal sport. Dont you think they deserve it?

Don't like the fight but Cottos earned the right to fight who ever the f.u k he wants for his final fight

It's not like Lemieux was a better option.
