Yes but Rigo Signature or one of his Signature Punches is a Left to the Body...that could be key in this match up vs Loma who has amazing footwork but body shots like this can slow anybody down and drain those legs

He not jumping up needing a KO to win he can match Loma in every way and more as far as Pure Boxing Skills

I lean Loma by Decision (might even be controversial) but Rigo is a very live and dangerous underdog and nobody should be shocked if he wins.

not sure why they call the jap guy rigo fought a journeyman. i think its cause he has 5 losses or more. he was waaaay bigger than rigo. 5’10 and 20lbs with a weird weigh in due to him rehydrating. rigo broke his face. it was a very exciting fight. rigo could have ‘ran’ but didnt.

I'm not aware of Lomachenko ever being dropped. Or are you saying GRJ has enough power to drop Loma? If the latter, that could apply to anybody ****** enough to let his opponent hit him flush. e.g. Ortiz sucker punched by Floyd.

It's going to be a tactical fight and I wouldn't be surprised if Rigo gets the win. Rigo carries wicked power for his size. But the bigger, younger, equally skilled Lomachenko should prevail.

I'm curious to see how Lomachenko deals with Rigo's counters. He's going to have to be far more patient and pick his shots. No way he throws 3 or 4 punch combos against Rigo. I see Loma's output dropping compared to his usual pace.

Remember when Crawford ''knocked down'' Postol to have his gloves touch the canvas on his back foot slip? It was a count, and imho that was a graze, not a hard shot.

KoolKC already posted the clip. That was a mean left hook by GRJ, that had been a different ref, it could've been or should've been a count.

Either way we spin it, GRJ's left to Loma's chin is more justified than Crawford's tap.

Doesnt even matter if he has more pop or not. He has really precise fast counter punches and they hit hard enough to hurt guys that are probably bigger than him. Loma could start getting hit with shots he doesnt even see those are the ones that really hurt you.

Is there any other angles on this? It looks like his heel went behind GRJ and it was pulled out when GRJ moved back. Not saying it’s not a knock down but it’s too hard to tell conclusively from this.
