Whos won lineal titles in the most weight divisions?

Who has conquered the most weight divisions in boxing? And I dont mean winning meaningless title belts, I mean who has beaten the man in that division who was universally seen as the best. Ie SRL beating Marvin Hagler.

The meaning of being a multi weight world champion has been watered down from fighters simply winning belts against fringe-top contenders in each division ie Manny becoming LW champion from beating Diaz or Adrien Broner becoming WW champion against Paulie Malignagi.

So who truly has conquered the most weight divisions?

Being the lineal champion doesn't necessarily mean conquering a division. The system is highly flawed.

A better gauge would be who has been the recognised no.1 fighter in the most divisions. It's harder to ascertain, but is a much better indicator than lineal champions

I agree. The system on becoming lineal champion is extremely flawed.
