That possibility is very real. I was listening to Réjean Tremblay earlier today on the radio, a Montreal journalist who is an "insider" for the Quebec/Montreal boxing scene. He said that Stevenson vs Jack still has a very good chance of happening.

As for Lemieux vs Cotto, he said that he has spoken recently to Camille Estephan (the head of Eye of the Tiger Management EOTTM, Lemieux's promoter). I don't exactly know what's the deal between EOTTM and GBP). Camille has told Réjean that Lemieux vs Cotto has a very slim chance of happening. However, HBO is apparently interested to have Lemieux headlining his own card on December 16th if the opponent is worthy. Réjean mentioned that BJS is a possibility but money and other demands could be an issue. Réjean mentioned that BJS has demanded around 2 mil and other demands but he didn't elaborate on those "other demands". To be honest, Réjean wasn't clear as to whether the 2 mil was his own speculation or what he's been told.

Adonis has great ability to avoid fighters like kov and alavarez. I mean seriously did Adonis have to rematch fon , a guy who was ko'd in one Rd by smith ?

I just do not understand Adonis Stevenson. This is a fun, talented, experienced fighter with a wicked left hook and a crowd pleasing fighting style. He is not a scrub and has legit boxing instincts.

But he has dodged, ducked, dipped, dived, and dodged his way to a legacy that will always be tarnished for not facing any of the top level competition in his division while he owned this now equally tarnished strap. Nothing about his mandatory with the "Not Canelo" Alvarez will change that, and he hasn't even signed to fight him yet.

Sad and wasted, this Adonis character. But at least he has money.
