Thank you. And they both have 75-inch reaches.

He changed his style as he got older, into much more of a slower-paced, counter-punching outside fighter to tame the kids. But Tarver isn't a kid, he's a slow-paced fighter himself. I just think that Hopkins can (and will) bring back the terror, and completely out-work Tarver with accurate shots to a clear-cut decision.

Winky Wright has brilliant defence, brilliant jab, brilliant peek-a-boo style and all that, and he is a brilliant fighter and arm-puncher. But he's blown-up light-middle whereas Taylor is a full middleweight who is getting even stronger at the weight. With Taylor, not many have seen his pre-Hopkins fights.. I have. Listen, Taylor never lost a round in his whole career until the Hopkins fights. He was nervous both times against Hopkins, and didn't perform to his full ability. He'll be fine against Winky now. Taylor has the best left jab in the history of the middleweight division. At his best, Taylor is the snappiest hitter in the world and hits with as much precision as anything since Joe Louis. And he's stronger than Winky.
Tarver is just too big for Hopkins and Hopkins has been in the middleweight division for way too long. He is old and old people do not adapt to weightclass changes well and I believe Hopkins will not adapt... Tarver will knock Hopkins out.

Taylor never lost a round and that is very impressive. In the first fight with Hopkins he was very timid and that was noticable but I disagree that he was still nervous in the 2nd fight. Taylor has a real good jab and is strong but Winky is very skilled himself and can handle people like Taylor. Taylor is NOT a knockout artist and Winky will not let himself be hit with anything close to a knockout punch. Taylor is not going to knockout Winky, he could very well win on points but no KO will happen in this fight. I bet that Winky will win as long as he comes into the fight in great shape. He is looks sloppy like in the Solimon fight, he will lose.

I don't see Hopkins dominating Tarver, maybe pulling out a close decision win like Glen Johnson managed to do (I scored it for Tarver). Taylor I could definitely see knocking out Wright, but I'm picking Jermain on points in a close but clear decision.

I agree with Dan Birmingham. This fight will be one sided like the Tito affair.

I have some of his early career fights (from a handheld camera), and he's really letting his hands go. Trust me, this guy is better than anybody believes. He's the ****!

Winky will allow him the time and space to get into position and let his hands go with some real snap.
