Honestly, it is not really just Russians it is most Foreign fighters struggle with Physicality particularly on the inside. Partly because they're usually Amateurs for a very long time so they're use to the Refs breaking quickly during tie ups. So yes Eastern Europeans as well as the Cuban fighters struggle dealing with guys who are physical on the inside!

But hell it is plenty of American Fighters who can't deal with Pressure Fighters and can't fight inside so I guess it depends on how a fighter is trained

I bet he didn't. This gay-looking guy might also be a good trainer, but as a man he's a real a$$hole, talking a lot of crap and generalizing about 'russian fighters'. Btw, Klitschko is from Ukraine, not Russia. And, at the end of the day, what does he means with 'Soviet' fighters? Nobody told him Soviet Union doesn't exist anymore? Racist ignorant...

400 amateur fights and from what I saw in the Canelo fight he truly do not know how to cut off the ring!

What was his coaches teaching him besides swinging till your opponent is out and throw jabs?

Amateur fights and pro fights are two totally different worlds!

Canelo started as a pro and anything can happen in that circumstances vs GGG who was a proven amateur champ!

You say Trout is his best win at 154? LOL must've forgotten the Lara fight !

You just admitted GGG takes a lot of shots but in the Canelo fight who was the more accurate fighter and landed the more eye catching punches!??

Why wouldn't they think they gotta gift? Look at GGG's trainer and team with all the excuses after the fight!

Notice you hear no excuses on Canelo's side but that they believe they won and want to fight again!

It's called saving face, GGG's own trainer admitted before the fight that if Canelo see's the final they will likely lose and its THEIR fault if that happens!

No, maybe it's just possible you can't see the truth even if it was under your nose and between your eyes!

Maybe, it's possible your just following what other's say since its the popular opinion which would be huge signs of not thinking for one's self?

Or maybe like I said, you seen the truth and won't acknowledge it becuz of your own preconceived notions and bias!

I had GGG by KO on my off the record prediction!
I didnt say it was Canelos problem, it just explains the wear and tear issue isn't the way you explain it. It was still a 35 year old lasting the pace better than a 25 year old, retaining he's titles and beating him in the eyes of most. Trout is Canelos best win because he didn't really deserve Lara, and even if he did it was an awful fight. Saying youre likely to get the short end of a decision against a guy who had a draw on one card with Floyd is a reasonable assumption, and so it turned out, the only judge that had Canelo winning had an outrageous scorecard. Nobody told me who won, I watched it live an had Golovkin winning. My prediction was Golovkin by stoppage as it always was, Canelo showed he's tough and slick. But the GGG haters had him being "destroyed" before the fight. Not quite how it turned out was it? Shame your predictions were off the record. How do you see a rematch going?

I think it was a ****** and wrong comment coming from a man who never had a pro fight and maybe never had an amateur fight. Russia has a huge population of strong, tough people. Most Russians live a hard life and that tends to toughen them up. To say they give up mentally when the going gets tough is unfair and untrue. He talks about a few fights of the thousands of fights they have had. They are no more quitters or less game with less heart than any other large group of boxers.

This is very true for a lot of russian fighters even recently like kudryashov they ate just used to being dominate. Kobalev couldnt handle Ward wanting to win more and putting it on him

By round 8, punches to the belt and even below the belt were ok by Weeks.

And even if those last 3 punches had been legal - which they weren't - why no count for Kovalev when he sat down on the bottom rope?

When Ward got decked in the first fight he got a count and a chance to recover and carry on. I repeat .. why no count for Kovalev?
                  No Standing 8 Count....

Also he turned his back in the midst of a fight a couple times! That's a signal he doesn't wanna fight!
