Wilder chased Povotkin, Ortiz and Stiverne. Three of the best heavyweights out their besides Joshua. Sad that Ortiz and Povotkin couldn't stay clean.

Povetkin is solely to blame for Stiverne being the mandatory.

First, Sasha was the mandatory and tested positive for a banned substance when he was supposed to fight Wilder.

Then, he got a second chance to fight Stiverne to put himself back in position for a mandatory and he tests positive again.

Which is how Bermain got put in this spot.

Not that Stiverne deserves it, but if Sasha could have kept away from the needles and pills, ESPECIALLY after he had gotten a free pass the first time and KNOWING he was going to be tested for the Stiverne fight, we wouldn’t have this.
