Pretty boring times really. We need the top guys to get it together. Wlad's era was often criticised for being slow, but the fact that all these competitive fights are actually out there is frustrating.

Weak. WBC screwed the pooch on this one. Makes me think there might have been some terms in the step-aside deal that forced their hand.

On the plus side this allows Wilder to fulfill his mandatory and get Stiverne out of the picture.

That leaves him free to take on big fights next year.

Well at least we'll see a knockout this time Wilder won't let this fight go the distance this time. And hopefully he can get that fight with Anthony Joshua next year!!!!

Showtime should of passed on this. The fight has to happen because of ****** corrupt ratings by WBC but Showtime had the option to refuse to air this garbage just like they refused to buy the Leo/Mares mismatch joke after Leo refused to fight Mares directly. The first Wilder/Stiverne fight wasn't entertaining and it wasn't a close fight. Years later with Stiverne not being active or beating anyone of note there is zero intrigue or fan fare to see it again.

Wilder chased Povotkin, Ortiz and Stiverne. Three of the best heavyweights out their besides Joshua. Sad that Ortiz and Povotkin couldn't stay clean.

People complaining about the sanctioning bodies giving the stiverne the shot but i guarantee behind closed doors there wasnt much protest from wilder, this is what he wanted. The guys a joke, mark my words you will never see wilder in with a top opponent.

                  your words are meaningless

you ran around saying that Canelo would duck Golovkin

you ran around saying that Ward would duck Kovalev

so yea..... nobody is going to mark your fkn words LOL

WBC cancelled the Ortiz fight and no state would sanction it anyways, there's really no way Wilder is at fault hear, Ortiz did even come to the press conference
