He was made an example of iirc. Other boxers got caught (in my head i remember Enzo Maccarinelli but not sure) and didnt get the same ban that Whyte got.

He was out for 2 years.
2 years for something like that when others get 6 months for steroid abuse was nuts.

UKAD and the BBBoC accepted that he'd made an honest mistake and would have got little, if any advantage from it in a fight, but they still banned him for 2 years.

The crazy thing is that the ingrediant had been added to the banned list because of concerns about it possibly causing high blood pressure with long-term use, not because it had any extreme benificial effect which could give you an unfair advantage in a fight.
It was either Jack3d or 1.M .R ( the original formula mimicked adrenal boosts to GREAT levels ) i ran a 4: 15 mile on this stuff within 2 months before they changed the formula and im not a experienced runner . I would say it would have significant advantages in sports even in short bursts where that would be useful in combat sports . BUT its not synthetic , compounds like creatine , caffeine , agmatine sulfate , Beta Alanine , DMAA , etc enhance performance to certain levels but athletes should be allowed to use these types of substances ,they arent steroids .

Even Ali used to inject Nandrolone in his hands after fights in the 70's , whos to say he wasnt before and where ? The whole situation has gone way far really ,they penalise others for things over counter and go easier on ones that are actually on steroids . Anything non synthetic should be legal and allowed to the athletes discretion . This would avoid alot of red tape and gray area B.S .

Im not blaming anyone ,I ijust used Wilders OWN words who he HIMSELF stated would not fight Whyte bc of SUSPECTED ped use but Wilder HIMSELF signed a fight with a guy he continually accused of a PED cheat ? How you guys cant get the continually contradicting angles he uses is the only thing mystifying thing here .

DMAA isnt a steroid either its a stimulant that boosts adrenalin like caffeine ! If that justify a 2 yr ban bc a pro athlete bought it LEGALLY well thats bizarro world .

Pre work out products are always changing and even hide some ingredients under other names . I remember being on a product in the early 2000's named Anovar PX 90 , a powdered drink for about 2 months making significant gains . It was taken off the shelves bc it had sythetic pro hormones in it . Nowadays companies just change stimulant compounds bc the FDA keeps banning things ....theyre actually making supplements more dangerous bc of it. .

Lol calm down big fella. PEDs enhance performance not necessarily muscle mass, I understand this logic. But if you want to play the sport you follow the rules, period. He's fought individuals that haven't followed the rules. Do you think wilder wants to have fights called off constantly? Do you think he prefers to sign contracts with fighters, just to have them fall through? His mindset is an amalgamation of his experiences and unfortunately he's been ****ed before.
