He should have took care of Lipinets before moving up. He has only himself to blame if people call him a duck.

Just like GGG will have only himself to blame if he retires after the Canelo rematch with rematching Jacobs and fighting his mandatory Charlo.

Obviously you're gonna be accused, rightfully so, for avoiding a quality opponent no matter your reasons.

It aint like Crawford gonna fight Spence, Thurman, Porter, or Garcia when he moves. He gonna fight some bum tune up and then fight a school teacher (Jeff Horn).

Lipinets isn't that good. Nobody is screaming for that fight but sanctioning bodies

Would love to see Prograis vs. Omar Figueroa Jr. @ 140! I have never seen Omar in a boring fight yet!

Pacquiao, Marquez, and Bradley have maybe one fight between the three of them, and Jesse Vargas is currently in a legal dispute with Top Rank; you can basically eliminate those four.

So basically Crawford is looking at Jeff Horn then nonsense.
I dont see anywhere that shows vargas is in a legal dispute with top rank. Link please? In fact the last thing i could find was vargas and horn negotiating to fight back in september. Jeff horn and vargas would be solid tests for crawford at 147. Ones a belt holder who just beat pacquiao and the other is a former 2 division champ and a solid top 10 welter. In the meantime top rank can work on luring over some 147 pounders or maybe some unknowns will rise to the top like indongo did at 140

Possibly the shortest reign in history as a modern undisputed champion. Goddamn as you yanks say.

Bet Crawford gets ranked at least No 1, if not No 2 by all the alphabelts. Wonder what the most exciting fight for him a WW is? Thurman?

Not a legal dispute but a "disagreement".

All I know is that Jesse Vargas is back at the Mayweather gym keeping sharp, and FightHype has an interview with him where it sounds like he's in a situation that sounds similar to what happened with Mikey Garcia (1 fight left on the deal, Top Rank wanting to simply extend the old deal, Vargas feeling that his value has increased and wanting new terms, etc).

If Crawford really cleans out 147 which isn't nowhere as weak as 135 and especially 140, then he truly is the best in the world. He's not atm.
