WBC should fabricate a special HW belt and let Naz and Maidana fight for it.

I'm not interested in debating his resume (which is pretty decent) or why he called time on his career shortly after the Barrera fight, i was disappointed that he didn't continue but i know he had his reasons (personal troubles, hand injuries, lack of motivation due to too much £) i will only ask you this one question:

Name me a more exciting fighter............In any generation?

Well that's the thing... Any contemporary fighters (who aren't named Mayweather or Hamed) who try their hardest to be flashy and mouthy will only come off as excrutiatingly annoying, not to mention off-putting – especially if their achievements don't back up their shit-talk. Broner tried and look at him now.

It was thanks to Hamed that midgets starting getting big paydays. He changed the game.

It still annoys me that guys like naz and Gatti are hall of famers. He literally mentioned his name in the same sentence as Muhammad Ali in this interview. Naz had excellent power and was a great showman but he was not great. Barrera and morales were always better than him and he spent too much time facing inferior and older competition.

Anyone who dislikes Hamed needs his ****ing head examined. He was the most exciting fighter in the history of the sport. BAR NONE.Yes, he retired early but he hated training camps and lost his mojo as early as 1997 when he became religious, settled down with a wife and rich beyond his wildest dreams. Let's not forget that Warren offered Barrera and JMM a million to get him in the ring back in 1997 and they refused point blank. It's a complete and utter lie that he ducked anyone. Here's proof on HBO itself:

Possibly the hardest hitting featherweight ever, whose power was consistent. In all honesty, I thought he had already lost his interest in boxing prior to the Barerra fight and took it for the money.

Could have been a case of too much too quickly. He wouldn't be the first boxer to chase paper instead of prizes and those early mornings start to slip when you are comfortable.

That's not taking anything away from Barrera though.

The WBC All You Can Eat Buffet Champion. In the little pictures they got on the belt there'd be pictures of mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, maybe some meatloaf.

So? What was Naseem's reason and don't tell me it was his hands. The real reason was the sharks were closing in, sharks like Morales were making their way upstream to 126. Morales would have killed Hamed in brutal fashion --- closed casket. Hamed beat who really? An old Vazquez (19 years pro), Kelly, and over-rated McCullough?

Yes. Hagler ran out of small guys moving up to pick on and the new cats on the scene posed a serious threat. All Hagler had to look forward to was asś kickings from young and bigger cats. McClellan was looking for a payday. Terrible Terry Norris was 11-0 and around the way. Julian Jackson was 31-1 and ready to move up. At 5'11" Jackson would have knocked Hagler the fùck out at 160. Curry and Kalambay were in/around that weight too. Hagler got the fùck out of there right quick lol.
