Now that TR is gone to ESPN, I could see PBC fighters going over to HBO, especially for big fights.
The only Haymon fighter on HBO is Daniel Jacobs, at a time where Saul Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin, the two biggest names even tied with HBO, are both fighting at Jacobs' 160lbs.

To try and spin that into something bigger is a mistake. Haymon has far too much time and money invested in building up the boxing budget on Showtime to risk all that for a network that is clearly not long for the boxing business (a move likely sped up even more were Time Warner to get the rights to the UFC).

My mistake; the belt becomes vacant once Alvarez to win.

Either way, the timeline sets itself up for Jermall Charlo to get his shot at a middleweight world title come Summer 2018 (a quick look at the WBC rankings has Hugo Centeno Jr pretty well set up for the shot).

Now Charlo needs to wait untill next summer. He will sit and do nothing before his title fight.

Btw, but baby miller is a PBC fighter. He's the undercard for the Jacob fight on HBO.

"Big Baby" Miller is signed to Banner Promotions/Salita Promotions; it's why you've only ever seen him fight on ShoBox or under Lou DiBella on a big show.

Maybe Hearn worked out a deal to get Miller, but to argue that he's a PBC guy is a mistake.

Cash cows nowadays only fight twice a day, and Canelo who is mexican would always fight in May and september. That is unlucky for GGG to be honest.

Maybe. Still, that wouldn't, on paper, be all that bad a vacant title fight.
