Suleiman knows it won't affect what Canelo does in the slightest as Canelo won't be going for the belt anyway. This is entirely between the WBC, Golovkin and Charlo.

Canelo's/GBP's decision on the rematch will be 100% driven by what they negotiate with Golovkin.

With Jacobs on HBO, I doubt that that'd be the move, tbh. If Eddie Hearn is successful in delivering for Jacobs (fights in November, gets another good fight in March), I could honestly see Jacobs vs Golovkin 2 (if Canelo passes on the third fight) or Jacobs vs Lemieux as being the next big fights (Sky Sports vs BoxNation makes a Saunders-Jacobs fight still difficult to put together, so I instead see HBO trying to push Alvarez-Saunders instead).

All good options, but Haymon is slowly filtering his fighters back to HBO. Too many fighters and not enough TV slots. PBC has never been apposed of putting their fighters on HBO, just that Arum and Haymon were beefing, which caused a raft with the network as well. Now that TR is gone to ESPN, I could see PBC fighters going over to HBO, especially for big fights.

The WBC made this move so they won't have to strip Golovkin. Either way, he is fighting Canelo next for the other belts.

... and as long as they are being tested the same from now untill the rematch, should be the only issue

Jermall Charlo gets stalled out for a bit, Golovkin gets beat by Alvarez in May, Alvarez vacates the WBC belt, and Jermall Charlo fights for the vacant WBC belt come the summer.
