Earned his spot for what? to face Haye? to face Parker?
if anything he earned a spot in the top 5 CW when he won the title, end of..
Let's not forget Haye who has been a bum feast since his return to boxing following a hefty divorce settlement needed all the money he could & now the injury..
I'm not making excuses for Bellew but because he hasn't the top CW guys, what is yours?

Now that he has made some money, Bellew won't stop with his bull**** anytime soon.

It's not an excuse. It's a fact. He won because Haye was crippled. No ifs no buts about it. I still think Haye beats Parker, though.

As others have said, Bellew still hasn't proven much. Makabu was portrayed as a killer but he was a midget with a padded record. Haye was hampered by an injury and that's why he lost, even then it wasn't a decisive win and TB struggled to put away a one-legged man.

Haye wins the rematch easily if he stays fit, if he gets injured he loses, that's the only intrigue this fight has really.

Incidentally, Haye looked like crap BEFORE the injury (having two gimme fights in 4 years will do that to you) but was still beating Tony without breaking a sweat, the 5th was particularly easy and TB was starting to blow even though he was barely throwing shots, that's how bad his stamina is. When Haye's Achilles went Tony started throwing shots, running on adrenaline, trying to stop Haye but still couldn't really dent him in spite of the fact that Haye had no balance or leverage to throw hard shots.

Parker is garbage too but I'd make him a big favourite to beat Bellew. Younger, fresher, more skilled, better engine, hits harder and DEFINITELY faster. Wtf is TB smoking, claiming he's faster?

You know your finished when you cant land on a out of shape bellew . Just a money grab after his mrs rinsed him getting divorced

Prick needs to jog on or fight someone worth fighting (a actual heavyweight)
He was injured coming into the fight he couldn't get his feet behind his punches to do anything.

Joey Parker is the UK assassin

Keep dreaming Tony, not even Gypsy magic was able to stop Parker's reign of terror against these euro-bums. The Bellend needs to get in line behind his gay lover Anthony Joshua to get a shot.

                Bellew's a decent Cruiser, that's about it.

His W over Haye was like hitting the lottery - he has no business discussing fights with anyone in tier 1/tier 2 of the Heavyweight division.

I would like to see Joe Parker box Bellew.
I think Bellew is most famous for his mouth, not so much his fists.

How Box-Rec have Bellew at #2 behind Joshua is beyond me.

As for easy competition at HW, again, everyone picked Haye to knock him out in the first round.

Parker is garbage, Bellew schools his bum arse.
And you picked Hughie to school Parker all night. No clue at all Bellew would get cracked and fold.
