Not a good idea for Malignaggi, but if they pay him enough why not go to the Ufc, even if he knows it's a fight that's very difficult to win.

This is just Conor trying to avoid getting murdered on the ground by the winner of the Kevin Lee vs Tony Ferguson fight next week since the UFC powers that be have vetoed his McGregor vs Diaz III fight that seemed all but a lock for December.

If Conor can get Paulie to agree to fight him inside the cage he can drop the title belt with the reasoning that "this is personal" or some sorta sh^t like that & then he can reaccess his future from there.

But right now he's looking likely to getting choked the f#ck out by Lee or Ferguson, he'll get decked into the 2nd row if he moves up to fight Tyron Woodley at 170lbs & the super fight he probably wants vs GSP at 170 won't even happen if GSP loses to Bisping next month.

So he's just buying sometime it sounds like to me to see if GSP can win or maybe even get back in the ring to prolong the L he's likely to get in the UFC next time out unless he gets to fight a certain small group of guys (Diaz, GSP or I guess Paulie now or certain non-title holders/non-top contenders that he'll only be able to fight if he doesn't have the belt or those guys upset one of the better title holders at the moment).
