Maybe your conscious is messing with you because I didn't call you a racist. I don't know you. I said that your logic is flawed. If your attitude is that those who don't like the country should leave then it's you and the people on your side of the issue who should leave. If you all are so butt hurt that these athletes have the right to protest during the anthem then why don't you leave and find another country where the people don't have the right? One of the things that the flag supposedly stands for is having the freedom to express dissent. Again, the constitution protects the athletes' right to protest. By trying to suppress this your right you all are being anti-American.

It's really disgusting how you all have flipped the narrative with deception. You've turned a protest against seemingly sanctioned police violence based on race, to blacks disrespecting America. All Kaepernick and the other athletes are saying is that something needs to be done about these cops being allowed to kill unarmed black people in the street wth no consequence. Since there's nothing being done and time after time again cops are allowed to get off murdering people even with video evidence illustrating their guilt, Kaepernick decided to pull a stunt to bring attention to it. How that has been flipped into disrespecting military soldiers who die in war is just a testament to the very racism that the players are protesting. This isn't even an honest discussion because people opposed to the players are being deliberately dishonest.

I couldn't care less about NFL ratings or if every trump supporter boycotted the NFL. The NFL could crash for all I care. The players should be ones boycotting. The players need to start their own league in all the major sports. It's clear that the people who make up the overwhelming majority of sports owners/management and fans dont truly respect the players and never have/will. The players should just start their own leagues so that they can entertain on their own terms.

There are plenty of studies that show otherwise. Even if it's not intentional racism, the fact that ********** are jam packed into inner-cities and easily cherry picked for drug arrests skyrockets their crime numbers. White people don't do less drugs, they just live in the middle of nowhere when they do it and probably also get away with it more in the cities too since there are so many scary black dudes around. They are also pulled over more often, and that's telling since basically everybody is speeding and cops absolutely pick and choose who they feel like pulling over.

More importantly, and an indisputable fact, our education system is dog ***** and there's not nearly enough money in it. They absolutely do not have access to the same quality of education as white neighborhoods do.

Btw, these athletes and black peiple in general are protesting things that are happening to blacks now in the present day. They're not protesting things that happened centuries ago to their ancestors. Tamir Rice was killed on video within the last couple of years. So was Eric Garner. So was Philando Castille. So was Walter Scott. Not one cop involved in any of those killings has been punished by law. If black cops were killing whites like this they'd be thrown under the jail.

I can think of many, many things worse than kneeling during a song but I'm sure you look the other way...like all them ****ty cops out there getting a free pass cuz their job is "dangerous" (barely in the top 10 for dangerous jobs in the USA, power-line workers don't get to break the law last I checked).

Any "color" cop killing a dark skinned individual soley because of the color of their skin should be put to prison for a long time for murder. We can all agree on that. The even bigger picture is "black on black" crime in Chicago in the thousands. I think athletes like Colin should spend time in Chicago and the NFL should allow players to wear patches on their jerseys to give attention to this serious problem. But that's against NFL rules. Action must be taken in Chicago and concerned athletes who care NEED to go there and help the kids.
