Why did Canelo not go to the body, since it's one of he's main strengths as a fighter? It's because he couldn't. Why did a 25 year old struggle so badly with a 35 year old? Because one is overhyped while the other is over criticised and underestimated. They still think it's being done with smoke and mirrors.

Neither one went to the body very often. Made no sense.

Correct GGG went to the body 8 times! Canella more but way under his average when you go to body you leave chin open vulnerable to a counter.

The flaws that both fighters have can be worked on but IMO Canelo's flaws are not so easily corrected. It's his stamina that's an issue. He did make a late rounds surge in the fight but not enough to win them contrary to what some think. Golovkin with his superior strength should have a clinching game ala Duran but he doesn't. I blame Sanchez for that. It's fine to practise what your good at but against certain opponents the usual may not work. He could have wrestled Canelo and wore him out quicker with a good inside strategy. Both guys neglicted the body. There is room for improvement in both sides. Canelo can't go to the ropes and get outpointed. G either by wrestling inside and nullifying Canelo's hand speed or an intelligent body attack should work on Canelo's suspect stamina. Hope the return match is a good fight.
