I wonder how many people who discount Whyte have seen him fight? First off, at 250 pounds the guy can throw nice combos at weird angles, he is relentless and fights 3 minutes of a round. He hurt his hand against Joshua and took many good shots and was able to keep coming.

Hes relatively young and still getting more seasoning. I think he may well beat Wilder if he can keep focused defensively. I know one thing, he thinks he can take Wilder...

Stiverne is too slow, he cannot pressure Wilder enough to be effective and set a trap, or get off his punches consistently. This means Wilder can pick his spots. Whyte is a live dog by comparison!

stiverne would be a meaningless fight. What's the point? I guess it's another W. But nothing anybody wants to see..

Whyte has done nothing to earn a shot in his biggest fight to date he was sparked .The win over Del was ok but Whyte himself said before their fight D. was shot.
He should have fought a decent guy last time out in the US.to raise his profile but instead chose a nobody .....he might live to regret that !

Whyte would be a good replacement fighter. It's a shame that Ortiz tested positive I was looking forward to see if wilder could KO him.

And bear in mind - this guy's career best win is over a shot to bits version of Chris Arreola, who was never much good even at his peak.
              This .....,,,,,

I think Whyte would knock Wilder out around the 8th to 10th rounds. Whyte can take a punch and has enough skills not to be caught with Wilders best shots. Wilder on the other hands swings wildly and leaves himself wide open enough for Whyte to land a knock out punch of his own. Just my opinion.

Watch Wilder duck Whyte like his life depends on it. He'll be clambouring for that Stiverne rematch.

This is more about Wilder finding a half decent replacement opponent than Whyte earning it. Who the hell else in Wilder's resume has 'earned' it? It's just line after line of stiffs and cans.
