Don't Get It Twisted, GGG is More Skilled Than Canelo. FACT

Prime fighter vs 35 yr old fighter with over 350 fights pro and amature.

What won GGG the fight wasn't his incredible over the top reflex or blazing speed. Those are physical attributes of youth. Not skills. Just because Canelo was faster, showing better upperbody/head reflex does not mean he was more skilled. do you understand this basic fact? If someone has more punching power for example, doesn't mean he's more skilled. right?

It was a matter of GGG using BETTER footwork, angles with solid fundamentals like the jab that controlled Canelo over most of the fight.

This is correct, Asia's very own GGG is extremely skilled.

He's the P4P #1 and top Asian fighter in the sport.

yup the people arguing Canelo is more skilled might as well say Pascal is more skilled than Bernard Hopkins. Pascal showed better reflexes and speed in both fights.

Bernard just stuck to his angles, straight right and footwork to outskill him.

Despite his obvious speed advantage, prime Canelo still took more punches than he landed against a slower, 35 year old GGG. That should tell you all you need to know about which of them has the better skill set.

Golovkin is Margarito with a jab. A walking punch bag with a chin and stamina.

                good point OP

                ggg is more skilled

canelo can afford to be in a bad position because his speed and athleticism will get him out of trouble

Canelo taught GGG a lesson in the art of the sweet science with soft Winning gloves, not fully healed right hand, mediocre stamina, cement feet and his first fight at 160!

Who was putting in more punishment on who?

I seen 3 times Canelo hurt GGG, but Golovkin has a great chin and an even greater poker face!

That's why I'm counting on him to be reckless in the rematch cuz that will just open better chances for him to be laid on the canvas!

Go check round 6 and watch that right hook to the body by Canelo and watch as GGG immediately stops punching and clinches!

I'll GGG this, he's a true glutton for punishment but body language don't lie and his face showed that of a fighter that ate some hard leather!
