You would have thought canelo was the Olympic medalist.
....and all he could manage was a draw?

Yeah he angled himself to the ropes consistantly. Either his stamina is poor or he's an idiot. Golovkin did better work with Canelo on the ropes. Canelo's boxing IQ is very poor.

Look at Broner, he's the best talent in boxing and keeps losing.

            Cuz of experience!

Canelo clearly has the superior experience against superior competition and it showed!

GGG fought the same way he always fights which is in 2 gears and that's it!

He either comes forward and throws lots of punches or comes forward cautiously behind a stiff jab!

In this fight Canelo made him use both his gears and as well GGG made Canelo show us that his footwork is better than we all thought but of course it gets underappreciated and gets called,"running"! SMH

GGG is so used to beating up and knocking out plumbers and house arrest fighters that when he stepped up he was exposed as a fighter who fights two ways!

Canelo is a special talent and if he had Roman Gonzalez stamina then he'd barely lose rounds to almost anyone!

Because being a great amatuer doesnt mean much as a pro. Only morons like teddy atlast put a lot of clout on amatuer fights. If you have 300 amaruer fights thats 900rds. I know pros who spar 500rds a yr but have not amatuer experience. Just because your a great bicyclists doesnt mean you will be a great motorcycle racer.

This is laughable. Canelo is the guy with poor ring skills. He can't command the ring against a good boxer. He couldn't adjust to Golovkin and he darned near blew the fight against Lara. He will get beat by the top Middleweights if he doesn't stop going to the ropes and giving up the center of the ring. Jacobs, Charlo and probably Lemieux will beat him. Golovkin already did but didn't get credit for it.

ggg missed like 500 punches and was landing mainly weak jabs, canelo landed less cuz he threw less do to stamina issues, but he was the more accurate fighter... rematch should be great fight...

Canelo looked much more skillful but he needs to improve his cardio and learn to pace himself better for a 12-round fight.

And stay off the damn ropes.
