I like Stevenson I really do but now that Ward has retired I would have to see some fights in order to determine the #1 LWH of the moment.

Kovalev, Beterbiev , Gvozdyk, Barrera, Alvarez, Jack.
Bivol might be good based on future fights.

LHW is a stacked division so until Stevenson gathers 2 wins against these names he doesn't have the right to call himself the man at 175.

You don't know about Bivol. You didn't even know what he looked like but then again you don't watch Boxing outside of 2-3 fighters.

You've also probably never heard of (or know what they look like) Alexis Arguello, Marvin Hagler, Salvador Sanchez, Pernell Whitaker just to name a few.

Wow the excitement half of you so called boxing fans are exhibiting on this post is hilarious! Someone on here trying to say Kovalev is still undefeated - yeah in your world, it's like the hate for Ward on here is has to be racial because he's not in the news, no controversy but is more hated than any other Champion it's like you guys are trying to make boxing great again , then someone on here calls the man coWard, and he retired because he had nowhere left to go???? But he went up to 175 took 2 fights and beat the MAN at 175 2wice!!! Stopped him the 2nd time and to add insult you guys are complaining about the stoppage more than the fighter who got stopped!! Sit y'all asses down somewhere - boxing will never be on a even playing field because you are too emotional over certain fighters.... So bias kicks in - and if your American really sit your asses down!! Kovalev is really undefeated in my mind (Bytch you sound silly as ****) the man is the last Olympic Gold medalist for this Country! The man beat a HOF in Kesseler for his 19th professional fight! The man won the super 6 - wasn't the favorite! The man cleared out 168! Then moved up and fought Sullivan Berrera who was ranked #1 - you guys do see what Sullivan Berrera is up to now!! The man never called Ward out again!!! The man eeked a decision win over Kovalev, them comes back in the rematch, his trainer said they trained for the stoppage!! He got the stoppage!! And no chatter or complaints - yeah Kov tried to file some BS months later, but after the fight and weeks later what did Kov say??? Crickets and bunny farts - cats like you guys destroy the sport because you take losses like it's the end of the world!!

True champion that Stevenson, never fighting any of his challengers and now #1. He is genuinely slick, best defense in the business, getting to #1 by not fighting anyone. Can't hit what you can't see and all that jazz.

The perceived #1 fighter doesn't always win the fights, you ****** ass. Styles make fights, you ****** ass. coWard is overrated and he lost to Kovalev, you ****** ass.
