Comments Thread For: Promoter: Now That Ward Retired, Adonis Stevenson is #1 at 175

With the recent retirement of WBO, IBF, WBA light heavyweight champion Andre Ward, promoter Yvon Michel is confident that Adonis Stevenson - the WBC champion - is universally the best fighter at 175-pounds. Michel, who promotes Stevenson, Eleider Alvarez and Artur Beterbiev, believes Ward's departure from the division will make it wide open.

Please fight Kovalev! It's not too late to finally prove you are a real champion! That fight should have happened four years ago, but in this rare case, better late than never, seeing as this time the ducker is actually the far older fighter, meaning the ducking won't have let to an unfair advantage accumulating for the dishonorable party, meaning the integrity of the sport will not be harmed in this case by the fight taking place now the way it has been when other superfights were made past their ideal date.

PLEASE FIGHT KOVALEV BEFORE SUMMER 2018! BOXING NEEDS THIS FIGHT!

coWard retired to avoid Stevenson. That means he was #1 at 175 all along. coWard had nowhere to run. GGG was lurking south, Stevenson lurking East and West, Bellew lurking North. All unwinnable fights for coWard.

Kovalev beat Ward 8-4 on my card, but I even found evidence the referee was trying to help Ward from round 1 onward!

WATCH WARD GET STAGGERED, DIVE FORWARD TO INITIATE A CLINCH TO RECOVER, AND THE REFEREE TAKE 10 SECONDS TO BREAK THEM, AND THEN SPEND ANOTHER 7 WARNING KOVALEV FOR IT UNTIL WARD HAD TIME TO RECOVER.

                Shameful evidence of CORRUPTION. https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...s_LqQzlc#t=324
Excellence through and through. Glad someone else sees reality.
