Broner doesn't deserve any more TV fights after his last few performances.

Maybe if this was three years ago then yeah, I'd say good match up, but it's not. Matthysse, quite frankly, has not done much since the Provo win, which was almost 2+ years ago. As I said many, many years ago, Matt has a china heart.

Broner is in a similar position but probably worse reputation wise. He has lost every major fight and done so by a distance. Plus he has shown he doesnt have an engine to throw punches for 12 rounds but his heart is not in question.

yeah its a decent fight but nothing more than that. Whether people will believe it or not, i was never high on matthysse and couldnt believe the hype he was getting. Same with broner.Its not a crossroad matchs, because both the winner and loser wont go on to do anything special and will get whooped by the next top fighter they face. I'd imagine matthysse will win a decision on work rate alone because broners basically a punching bag these days, matthysse hits hard enough to stop him opening up too much.

what do u mean broners hearts not in question lol. if he had more heart, he wouldnt go into his shell and not throw anything back when hes in there against top oppositon.

Broner goes into his shell because that is his style and he showed against Garcia that he can still make some late round comebacks.

Broner is a piece of **** human being but the dude fights tough fights at least. Can't say that about the other 99% of fighters out there looking for easy pay checks

It didn't happen when it's supposed to happen. Both were in the same card, but fought other fighters: Matthysse vs Ortiz, Broner vs Taylor. They won both their respective fights; Broner called out Matthysse, Matthysse replied, "I hope he's not joking." Nothing happened. Matthysse left Haymon and signed with GBP. That's how frustrating boxing is. Both want the fight and someone has to stop it from happening.
