If Parker fought Whyte there would be no Joshua fight . Why would Hearn take away TWO championship fights for Joshua that would sell? Why do you think Hearn offered Ortiz a fight with someone else than taking a Wilder fight ? He wants Joshua to fight them all thats why .

If Hearn really wanted AJ Parker after Pulev you'd expect he'd be hasty to arrange Whyte vs Parker for a potential AJ match up in the spring. If you would like we could have a gentlemans bet on who AJ's next opponent is after Pulev, assuming of course he gets past Pulev which most certainly is not a given taking into account his defensive shortcomings against genuinely talented opposition.

You're aware Banks didn't want Whyte to face AJ so soon and wanted more fights together to craft and hone skill, skill which is clearly lacking and as highlighted against Chisora fitness and stamina too. Their seems to be the lowly held notion by posters like yourself Whyte and Chisora was this epic barnstormer, it was a shyt show, two guys who couldn't put two successive heavy punches together to get the other out, one started slow and came on strong later (Whyte) the other started fast and slower later (Chisora) their conditioning was absurdly poor, their skills or lack of skills should we add clearly anything but world level.

Whyte proved that night he is of the same level as Chisora, Chisora hasn't been the same fighter since 2012, or we could say he is the same fighter he was in 2012 he hasn't progressed. I'm not agenda driven like yourself other than I can't understand why Parker is not given credit for convincingly defeating a guy who wanted to be anywhere else but in the ring opposite Joey.

Unlikely i'd say... he'd want Parker's stock to rise in the UK so when the time comes for Joshua v Parker that'll make him even more money, it's just if Wilder beats Ortiz and Joshua beats Pulev then Joshua v Wilder is clearly the much bigger fight that'll be put forward. Likelihood is that Parker takes a meal ticket fight in Japan next, then fights the winner of Bellew/Haye when Joshua v Wilder (obviously dependent on winners!) is taking place to build up his profile even more.

Though in all honesty it wouldn't matter how much stock Parker has... that fight would be to unify the heavyweight title and would be huge on that fact alone.
